January has been a productive month. I’ve finished five episodes in the new series, The Lives of the Saints – First Series – the 1928 B.C.P. Saints. The first four of these have been uploaded to our You Tube channel and the fifth, for the Conversion of St. Paul, will be uploaded on January 25th. 2015 in review
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 780 times in 2015. If it were a cable car, it would take about 13 trips to carry that many people.
New Videos in 2016 A.D.
In this Advent Season, when Christians prepare themselves for both the first and second/final coming of our Lord and Saviour, we should understand what the Christian Faith is about. No matter what a certain unnamed politician says, Christianity is not a religion which includes “bedrock” teachings of all other religions. It is the source of the Christian Truth found in the Gospel accounts of the divine origin, Incarnation, life, teachings, Crucifixion, Death on the Cross, Resurrection and promise of Life Everlasting in the divine Kingdom of the Father of the only-begotten Son of God.
I’ve been working on the preliminary plans for a new series of Seasonal Videos and a separate series of Teaching Videos which will be produced in A.D. 2016. The first in the Seasonal Videos series is a two episode series on Epiphany. Continue reading “New Videos in 2016 A.D.”

Twenty-third Sunday After Trinity
My Podcast Homily for the Twenty-third Sunday After Trinity was uploaded to the AIC’s Podbean channel this morning. The readings are Philippians 3:17-21 and Matthew 22:15-22. I augmented the commentary on the Gospel reading with references to Isaiah 64:8 and Psalm 138:4, 5. The first closing prayer was a catena of my own based on Psalm 145:2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 13 and 1 (in that order). There are only two more Sundays in the Church Calendar (Trinity 24 and Sunday Next Before Advent). I’ve already recorded both but not uploaded them to the AIC web site. Listen to the Trinity 23 Podcast Continue reading “Twenty-third Sunday After Trinity”
Twenty-second Sunday After Trinity and Episode Twenty-eight in Revelation: An Idealist Interpretation

I can hardly believe it is already near the end of the week, but it has been a productive week. I’ve completed the final episode in Revelation: An Idealist Interpretation. Episode Twenty-eight is focused on Chapter 22. The key illustration is River of Life and Tree of Life from the Bamberg Apocalypse. Revelation – Episode 27 and Twenty-first Sunday After Trinity

I can hardly believe I have come to the end of the video series on Revelation, with the final production of both Episodes Twenty-seven and Twenty-eight. Episode Twenty-seven, focused on Chapter 21, the New Jerusalem, has been uploaded to the AIC’s You Tube channel. This may be the best video so far in the series, since Continue reading “Revelation – Episode 27 and Twenty-first Sunday After Trinity”
Revelation: Episode 26 (Parts 1 & 2) & Twentieth Sunday After Trinity

After a rocky start to the week (hip joint problems) I got back on track (literally and figuratively) by midweek. This week’s installment of the Revelation series video required a change of plan. Owing to the length, I had to split the Episode into two parts. Part 1 is Revelation 20:1-6, St. John’s poetic introduction. Part 2 is verses 7 through 21. The illustration is Binding and Loosing of the Beast from the Bamberg Apocalypse.

Nineteenth Sunday After Trinity and Episode 25 in Revelation: An Idealist Interpretation
This has been a terrific week! The rainy weather finally abated and the sun came out and the temperature went up. Early in the week, shut-in owing to the stormy weather, I completed and uploaded Episode Twenty-five in Revelation: An Idealist Interpretation. Continue reading “Nineteenth Sunday After Trinity and Episode 25 in Revelation: An Idealist Interpretation”
Revelation – Episode 24 and Eighteenth Sunday After Trinity

Episode Twenty-four in the on-going series, Revelation: An Idealist Interpretation, was uploaded to the AIC’s You Tube channel on Wednesday. With this episode I begin my discussion of Chapter 19, with verses 1-10. Continue reading “Revelation – Episode 24 and Eighteenth Sunday After Trinity”
